What does my RV rental include?

Your RV comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay at Talona Ridge, including fresh bedding and linens, a toaster/convection oven/air fryer, a refrigerator/freezer, eating utensils, toiletries, a fire pit, and a clean, comfortable space to relax. Outside the RV, you can enjoy the restaurant, pools, and community events.

Do I need to know how to operate an RV?

Not at all! We are here to make your RV experience as simple and enjoyable as possible. If you have any questions during your stay, our staff will be happy to help.

How much does it cost to rent an RV at Talona Ridge?

RV rental pricing is based on occupancy and availability. During peak periods, rates may be higher than usual.

Is there a minimum age requirement to rent an RV?

Yes. The minimum age to rent an RV is 21. You will need a state-issued ID.

​

How many people can stay in the RV at one time?

The RV comfortably sleeps four adults but may also accommodate a family with two or three children.

​

Can I bring my pet to stay in the RV rental?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in our rental RVs at this time.

​

What if something breaks in the RV during our stay?

A QR code inside the RV will allow you to submit a work order directly to our maintenance department. They will be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns.

What time is check-in?

Check-in is available daily from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you expect to arrive late, you must call our Welcome Center at 706-636-2267 during normal business hours to notify our team. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate check-ins after 9:00 p.m.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. If you need a late check-out, please call the Welcome Center. Late check-outs are subject to availability and additional charges.

Does Talona Ridge rent golf carts?

Talona Ridge has a limited number of golf carts available to RV rental guests at a special rate starting at $40 per night. To rent a golf cart, visit the Talona Ridge Welcome Center upon arrival and speak with one of our guest specialists. If a golf cart is available, it can be added to your account.

Golf carts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

​

Please note: If you bring your own golf cart, proof of insurance must be on file before check-in. Please email the required documentation to:

Why doesn’t Talona Ridge RV Resort offer cable TV service?

Because demand for cable TV service among today’s RV guests is low, we have chosen not to provide cable connections at our sites. However, the TV in your rental RV offers streaming services for you to enjoy.

How reliable is the Wi-Fi?

We are continually working with our local service provider to improve the signal at every site. If the signal at your site is weak, internet access is also available in Grandview Hall. Grandview Hall has cable TV as well, so you can join other guests to watch the game.

Does Talona Ridge RV Resort offer weekly and monthly rates?

Weekly rates are available; however, we do not currently offer monthly rentals. You can view all our pricing details on our website or by calling the Welcome Center during normal business hours.

What activities are available for children at or near Talona Ridge RV Resort?

There are plenty of activities for children to enjoy at Talona Ridge and throughout the surrounding area. Here are a few ideas:

• Swimming in our family pool

• Playing yard games on the Grandview Hall Terrace

• Hiking on nearby trails

• Visiting the Bigfoot Museum in Cherry Log

• The local movie theatre

Are there gas stations, convenience stores, or restaurants nearby?

Yes. There are many places just down the road from Talona Ridge where you can fill up on gas, buy groceries, or enjoy a meal—including a Starbucks.

Do I need quarters to use the laundry facilities?

You may use quarters, or you can activate the machines through a mobile

app. A QR code providing access to the app is posted in the laundry area.

 

What if I need to change or cancel my reservation?

Changes and cancellations are subject to Talona Ridge’s current reservation policies. Please refer to your rental agreement and if you have additional questions, feel free to contact our customer service team.
